Official Contest Rules

Grimpeurs Cycling Club (GCC)

1. Contest Objective

The purpose of this contest is to select the official GCC 2026 jersey design, based on creative proposals submitted by active members of the community, promoting participation, talent, and the club’s identity.

2. Eligibility

  • The contest is open exclusively to members of the GCC community.

  • Participants must have taken part in at least one GCC activity during 2025, including:

    • Semilleros

    • GCC Fondos

    • Time Trials

    • Train to Wakefield

  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Each participant may submit one (1) design proposal.

  • Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of these official rules.

3. Process and Timeline

a) Submission period:
Design proposals must be submitted no later than February 11.

b) Voting period:
Submitted designs will be organized and put to a vote between February 12 and February 15.

c) Ties:

    • In the event of a tie, a one-day flash vote will be held.

    • If the tie persists, the winning design will be selected at random.

4. Submission Guidelines

a) Designs must be submitted through the official submission link:

b) Each submission must include:

    • Front and back views of the jersey.

    • A short paragraph explaining the concept, inspiration, and design approach.

c) Recommended file formats:

  • JPG, PNG, or PDF.

 

5. Design Requirements

a) The jersey must include, at a minimum, the GCC logo, available for download at the following link:

    • Logos must be used responsibly and in accordance with GCC’s brand identity.

b) Designs must not include sexist, xenophobic, discriminatory, or offensive content of any kind.

c) Any text included in the design must be in English or French.

d) AI-generated designs are permitted, provided they comply with all conditions outlined in these rules.

6. Evaluation Criteria

Designs will be evaluated and voted on based on the following criteria:

  • Creativity and originality.

  • Alignment with GCC values and brand identity.

  • Visual impact and graphic clarity.

  • Technical feasibility for production.

7. Prize

  • The winner will receive one (1) official GCC 2026 jersey.

  • The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

8. Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

  • The winning participant agrees to grant GCC full rights to use, reproduce, and adapt the selected design for production, promotion, and communication purposes, without territorial or time limitations.

  • GCC may make technical or graphic adjustments required for production, while respecting the original concept.

  • Non-selected designs remain the property of their respective authors.

9. Modifications and Cancellation

GCC reserves the right to modify deadlines, conditions, or cancel the contest for justified reasons, with timely communication to participants through official channels.

10. Acceptance of Rules

Participation in the contest constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of all terms and conditions set forth in these official rules.
