Manotick TT
GCC is organizing its first event for the cycling community of the National Capital Region. The goal is to integrate the clubs of the region through a Time Trial and a Team Time Trial of 17km in a wide and safe segment. We want to create a community and we have found a location in Manotick that can offer a good show and is very close to Ottawa.

IronMan 70.3 MusKOKA
A mid-summer race loved for its stunning beauty and naturally tough course. This race takes place in a region adjacent to the majestic Great Lakes—a pristine, forest getaway in Canada’s cottage country.

Everesting
The Everesting Challenge Gatineau Park is an exciting way to push your limits. Simply cycle up and down the Fortune Lake section until you reach a total ascent of 8,848 m—the height of Everest!

tour of the capital region
This is a staged cycling event taking place in the Capital Region. The goal is to ride four different stages as a team over a five-week period

Défis du Parc
The Défi Vélo Cogeco 105km is a frenetic experience, with the rhythm of clicking derailleurs and the energy of the group, in an atmosphere that transports you to the most beautiful cycling route in Eastern Canada, in Shawinigan’s La Mauricie National Park. Each year, more than 1,800 cyclists of all calibers enjoy exclusive, privileged access to create their own feat on the 105km of this cyclosportive renowned for its steep climbs.

IronMan 70.3 Portugal
With its mild climate and 3,000 hours of sunshine per year, Portugal has long been a prime destination for family holidays. Thanks to a bumper IRONMAN day, including an IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 distance event, athletes can experience the best Cascais has to offer, starting with a swim in the most spectacular bay in Portugal.
August 3
GCC Long Ride
Our most ambitious challenge to date, we will ride with Montreal as our destination We will be passing through Mont Tremblant to complete 319 kilometers on the first day. The next day, we will return from Montreal to Gatineau, a distance of 220 kilometers. A total of 539 kilometers in just two days!
August 17
White Face
A special event for what could easily be our favorite climb. White Face Mountain is a 12.97 km pass with an elevation gain of 1,072 meters (average gradient of 8.3%). In 2023, we did a day trip and completed a 100km route with an elevation gain of just over 2,000 meters. It is a trip worth doing in a group and is without a doubt a mental challenge in the middle of nature in the state of NY in the United States.

Meech Lake Triathlon
The Meech Lake triathlon also known as Mike Collingwood Memorial Triathlon had its first appearance in 1983 and has since been one of the most iconic races in the NCR. Taking place in the heart of Gatineau Park, our playground.

Vermont Gran Fondo
The Vermont Gran Fondo (VTGF) was born out of a famous bucket list epic 4 gap ride known locally as the LAMB ride. LAMB comes from the names of the 4 gaps (Lincoln Gap, Appalachian Gap, Middlebury Gap, and Brandon Gap) , which when combined into a single ride can easily exceed 175 kilometers and over 2,957 meters of gained elevation.

Gatineau
Triathlon
We will be participating in the Gatineau Triathlon, specifically the Team Relay event, where we will be registering two teams of one swimmer, one runner and one cyclist. It will be a day where we can show how we work as a team and enjoy our physical and mental capacity.

GCC Aviation Park TT
The Aviation Park time trial is a preparation test for the June and July competitions. The club practices this test before its main activities to know the physical condition of its riders.

CN Cycle for CHEO
CN Cycle for CHEO is a fun, non-competitive event that offers a varietyof cycling and walking routes for people of all ages and abilities. Your registration includes lunch, access to entertainment and activities, and a chance to win some fundraising prizes! Your help will raise much-needed funds to support oncology care and research for CHEO’s oncology patients.

New York Gran Fondo
GFNY NYC serves as the GFNY World Championship. Each May, cyclists descend on New York City and the starting line on the world’s busiest bridge, the George Washington Bridge, which is completely closed to cars for GFNY. The race features the most international peloton in the world, with riders from nearly 100 nations coming together from all corners of the globe to challenge themselves against the clock and their peers on the iconic course. The GFNY World Championship has become a mecca for road cyclists from around the world.
