Infinity Virtual Tour 2025 – Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

The Infinity Virtual Tour 2025 (“the Event”) is a community-based, non-commercial indoor cycling event organized by Grimpeurs Cycling Club (GCC) and its partners.
Participation is free of charge and intended to promote community engagement, sportsmanship, and motivation through friendly competition.

The event takes place exclusively on the MyWoosh platform.
It is not organized, sponsored, or endorsed by MyWoosh.
All references to MyWoosh are solely to describe the technical environment where the rides occur and results are recorded.

2. Eligibility and Registration

Participation is open to all cities, but prizes are available only for riders in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Gatineau.
Each participant must:
- Have a valid MyWoosh account.
- Use a smart trainer or a trainer with a compatible power meter recognized by MyWoosh.
- Ensure stable internet and device connectivity during all stages.
Teams must consist of 2 to 3 members.
Each participant is responsible for verifying their setup and for joining each event session on time.

3. Event Nature and Liability

The Infinity Virtual Tour is a free, volunteer-driven community event.
The organizers and sponsors:

Accept no responsibility for connection issues, data errors, hardware or software malfunctions, or any interruption in MyWoosh’s service.
Are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages sustained while participating.
Are not responsible for discrepancies resulting from MyWoosh data or system behavior.

Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring that their equipment and training setup are safe for indoor cycling.

4. Fair Play and Sportsmanship

All riders must uphold values of integrity, respect, and fairness.
Organizers reserve the right to suspend or disqualify any participant or team involved in:

Data manipulation, cheating, or exploiting platform mechanics.
Offensive or disrespectful behavior toward participants, organizers, or sponsors.
Conduct contrary to the spirit of community and fair competition.

Such decisions are final and non-negotiable.

5. Results and Data Handling

Results are generated from MyWoosh event data and published weekly on the event’s official website and GCC´s Strava and social media pages.
Participants may request corrections within 24 hours of result publication by emailing hello@gcclub.ca, providing sufficient details and evidence.
After this period, all results are considered final and official.
Organizers may adjust data manually in exceptional cases if clear technical errors in MyWoosh data are identified.

6. Prizes and Recognition

Prize Structure

There are two ways to win:

Performance-based awards – for the best-performing teams across all stages.
Lucky draws – one winner per stage, randomly selected among riders who complete that stage.

This dual system rewards both excellence and consistency.

7. Event Modifications and Cancellations

Organizers reserve the right to:

Modify stage dates, routes, or technical requirements in response to platform updates or external conditions.
Suspend or cancel the event in part or entirely for operational, technical, or community reasons.
Exclude participants who compromise the safety, fairness, or integrity of the event.

8. Data Privacy

Personal data collected during registration are used solely for event coordination, communication, and ranking publication.
No data will be sold, shared, or used for unrelated commercial purposes.
By participating, riders consent to the publication of their name, team, and results in public event channels (website, Strava, and social media).

9. Acceptance of Terms

By registering and participating in the Infinity Virtual Tour 2025, each participant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as the event’s official rules and scoring system.
Participation implies full acceptance of these conditions.
